The 2017 flying season is upon us, and all dues are now past due. If you are late with your dues, please get a hold of one of the club officers or attend the next meeting to get up to date. Also, please remember that at the time of your club dues payment/membership renewal, your AMA membership must also be current and in good standing.
As we get ready for a great flying season, please take the time to make sure your equipment is in safe and workable condition. Test your batteries under load to make sure that your NiCd and NiMh batteries will hold a charge and power your aircraft for the duration of several full flights, make sure all fasteners and hinges are in good condition and keep safe model operations at the top of your mind.
This time of year the field and parking area can be fairly soft after the rain storms, if you’re in doubt of the firmness of the parking area please park on the graveled areas. If you leave a rut by accident, please stomp it down. This is particularly true at the new South Cairo field.
