About

The Sawyer R/C Flyers is a club sanctioned by the AMA, Academy of Model Aeronautics. Its sole function is to provide a place and an atmosphere conducive to flying model aircraft and to fly them with safety as it’s primary goal. We have monthly meetings, provide flight instructors and enjoy the camaraderie with other enthusiasts.

The club originally started as the Kingston Aero Modelers in 1972. Since then, it has occupied other locations and has survived some membership splits. Today it exists as a “laid back” club for the sole purpose of non-competitive flying.

Thank you for your interest in our club,

Al Troccia- Club President
