Hey everyone, it’s been a while since some new news has been posted here.
I wanted to remind all of the club members who view the website that on Oct 12 we’re having a club get together to fly, have some food and have a good time.
We’re not sure if there will be any particular events or contests but if you have some fun ideas, be sure to mention them here or at the club meeting on the 9th and they’ll be considered if we can pull them together and there’s enough interest. I was thinking a helium balloon pop event with park flyers might be fun, but I don’t know how many people have planes that size to participate. Maybe do a bomb drop too, or just have some impromptu pylon racing for kicks. Nothing has to be official, just some things to do.
It would be great to see a good turnout and to see some old friends and fliers that we haven’t seen in a while, if you’ve been taking some time off from flying, maybe it’d be a good time to come out and see folks before winter closes in! Even if you fly every weekday but don’t come out on the weekends, it’d be great to see you too. Let’s get a good crowd going! If you know of someone who hasn’t been at the meetings and doesn’t read the site, maybe give them a ring to let them know or remind/invite them as well.
