JohnS put together a great multi-page newsletter for everyone and I highly suggest taking a chance to read it! The newsletter was emailed out to a lot of folks, but if you missed it or are not a full time member of the club yet it might provide some good insight into who we are.  Download the newsletter below!

IMAX Fighter Pilot Film

March 18, 2012

Wayne sent this link over to me for the website. It’s a great IMAX Video about a fighter pilot with some good videography. It’s about 48 minutes long but well worth the watch. Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy.  Don’t forget to set it for high resolution (click on the gear on the bottom right once the video starts playing) and go full screen for the best effect.

Our club meeting is on the 15th this month at the center by Cantine Memorial Field once again. Last month’s meeting was cancelled so it’ll be nice to see everyone again.

Video From Indoor Flying at UCCC

February 19, 2012

Here’s some video from February’s indoor flying at Ulster County Community College. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and there was a broad variety of aircraft the pilots there as usual. It’s a fun time and if you have something small to fly indoors or just want to hang out you should make it out to the one coming in March. I’ll get the date from JohnS and update the site with it.

Indoor Flying at UCCC (Ulster County Community College)

I’m not sure if everyone is aware of this but we’ve been flying indoors at UCCC once a month. If you want more info contact John S as he has the inside line. Use the feedback button on the far left if you want info, but don’t have JohnS’s contact info. We had a good time!  There was a small screwup with the scheduling this weekend and we were originally told we couldn’t fly this weekend, but they reversed that decision and all was good! If you have small flying things you should try to make the next one!  No wind, good and friendly folks! -JonC
